If among your New Year’s resolution is to get a dog, which has been proved to prolong your life, making it healthier and less lonely, I found this list of the different breeds out there and their trainability
I find it very helpful and I’m sure you could use it to how well your potential best friend could respond to you. Just don’t make it a “golden rule” since is just a guideline because once you’ve fallen in love with a dog the last thing you’re going to think of is if its going to do well rolling over or giving you five… trust me, I know.

Dali is almost 9 months old and we haven’t been very “trainingful” (if that is a word). It is not his fault, we know… So far he has learned to kiss instead of bite on one’s fingers and he might also sit if you’re about to feed him a treat (and that is thanks to Gigi and Miel). He doesn’t even “go” outside yet… and we aren’t sure if he is ever going to do it… I stumbled upon (literally because we are using this cool tool Stumble Upon to find interesting websites) this very useful site that tips us, dog owners, on easy tricks to teach to our friends… so now it is up to us to shake our laziness and start training… Check it out here
